Sherby D. Scurto Named to Rising Stars
CHICAGO - February 1, 2010: Sherby D. Scurto has been named by Illinois Rising Stars as one of the top up-and-coming attorneys in the state for 2010. Each year, no more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in the state receive this honor.
The selections for this esteemed list are made by the research team at Super Lawyers, which is a service of the Thomson Reuters, Legal division based in Eagan, Minn. A veteran of the U.S. Army, Scurto is a family law attorney with unique experience in military family law. In the past, she has assisted personnel stationed at the Great Lakes Naval Station.
With an office in Oakbrook Terrace, Scurto represents clients in all areas of family law, including divorce, custody, child support, adoption and paternity. She is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the American Bar Association, as well as the DuPage County, Lake County and Will County Bar Associations. In addition, Scurto is a member of the American Chemical Society.
